Santa Fe Train Trestle

This made for a great exploration with my 5-year-old son. We also saw lots of interesting bugs (dead and alive), tons of spiderwebs and crossed the Dallas Love Locks Bridge, which would make a great background for family photos. We also saw the old train trestle that will apparently be removed at some point (read more about it on dallasnews.com).

We parked at the 8th & Corinth Station light rail parking lot and walked to the east side access to the trail, 2204 S Riverfront Blvd, Dallas, TX 75207.

We crossed only a few people on this path, but the path is pretty wide and paved. Watch out for bike riders; one came right up behind us without saying anything.

Length: 0.86 miles, trail map can be found here
