DISD launched Solar Prep for Boys at John F Kennedy Learning Center in fall 2018.

This campus currently serves children in pre-K to second grade and will expand one grade level each year up to eighth grade. Half the seats at Solar Prep are available to young men from across the city, and half are reserved for boys who live in the school attendance zone.
