This one is hard to find, but the benefit is NO ONE was there. The entrance is located on Hampton, just south of Kiest Blvd. If driving south on Hampton, you'll need to cross Kiest Blvd, then make a u-turn. The entrance will then be on your right. Drive over the wood chips until you find a sign explaining the history of the trail, in English and Spanish.
The trail is very well marked and we were able to make a loop. There was an added benefit of a few signs to explain what we were looking at and how this area was cleaned up starting in 2009.
From its website: Keist Park has 260 acres. It is divided into 2 parts by Kiest Blvd. The southern part of the park has about 79 acres. A large, untouched wildflower meadow was discovered in the center of the area (the trail flows around the meadow).
Dogs are allowed, as long as they are on the leash. There are trash cans at the head of the trail. Please pick up after your dog.
